The saying, “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know” isn’t the be-all and end-all of job hunting, but it definitely helps! Connecting with people in your industry, as well as others, often presents unique job opportunities that you otherwise wouldn’t have come across. 

Whether it’s in person at events or online through sites like LinkedIn, networking is invaluable for anyone looking to change jobs or careers. It’s another way to get noticed and stick in the minds of those who are hiring.
